Ruth

The book of Ruth, set in the period of the judges of Israel, takes us into a time and a culture quite different from ours. But one thing is the same - the sovereign and gracious God who is working his purpose out, both in individual lives and in his grand eternal purpose planned before the beginning of time and accomplished in his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
