Unconfessed sin: Sin that has not been acknowledged or admitted. Believed by some to interfere with a believer’s relationship with God; believed by some to be the cause of sickness, poverty, or any other undesirable life circumstance. Such beliefs under-cut the completeness of salvation in Christ.

Unforgivable sin: The sin of rejecting Jesus Christ; that is, the sin of rejecting the testimony of the Holy Spirit when he teaches a person the truth about who Jesus is and what Jesus did.

Unitarianism: Error alert: The belief that God does not exist in a Trinity. A cult with this belief.

Universalism: Error alert: The belief that everyone is automatically saved by the death of Christ. Or, the belief that the grace of God is given to all through the death of Christ to restore to every individual the ability to respond to God.
