2. Read the whole passage or chapter.
3. Ask questions:

- What does it teach you about who God is and what God is like?

God the Holy Spirit
- What does it teach about what God does?
Past

- What does it teach about salvation?
- What does it ask me to do?
Is there a fact for me to believe?
Is there a promise for me to trust?
Is there a command for me to obey?
Is there an example for me to follow?
- What are the implications for my life?
For my attitude to God?
For my attitude to myself?
For my attitude to others?
For my attitude to my work?
For my attitude to my circumstances or environment?
4. Commit yourself to God to trust and obey what you have learned.
