I WILL NOT REMEMBER

Your sins

Isaiah 43:25: I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.

Jeremiah 31:34: I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.

Hebrews 8:12: I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more

Hebrews 10:17 Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more

 

I WILL REMEMBER … I WILL NOT FORGET …

My covenant:

Genesis 9:16: Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.

Leviticus 26:42: I will remember my covenant …

Deuteronomy 4:31: For the LORD your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your forefathers, which he confirmed to them by oath.

Ezekiel 16:60: I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.

Luke 1:69,72: He has raised up a horn of salvation for us … to remember his holy covenant, the oath he swore to our father Abraham.

Hebrews 8:6-7: ‘But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better promises.

Luke 22:20: This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

His mercy:

Psalm 25:6,7: Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your live remember me, for you are good, O LORD.

Habakkuk 3:2: ‘LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD, renew them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.’

His word:

Psalm 119:49: Remember your word to your servant, for you have given me hope.

The enemy:

Psalm 74:18,21: Remember how the enemy has mocked you, O LORD, how foolish people have reviled your name… remember how fools mock you all day long.

Psalm 89:50,51: Remember, Lord, how your servant has been mocked, how I bear in my heart the taunts of all the nations, the taunts with which your enemies have mocked, O LROD, with which they have mocked every step of your anointed one.

Jeremiah 15:15: You understand, O LORD; remember me and care for me. Avenge me on my persecutors …

Romans 12:19: Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay” says the Lord.

Your helplessness:

Psalm 10:12: Arise, LORD! Life up your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless.

Your affliction:

Psalm 74:19: Do not forget the lives of your afflicted people forever.

Your obedience and love:

Jeremiah 2:2: I remember the devotion of your youth, how as a bride you loved me and followed me through the desert, through a land not sown …

Hebrews 6:10: God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.

Your human dependence, fragility and vulnerability:

Job 7:7: Remember, O God, that my life is but a breath; my eyes will never see happiness again.

Job 10:9: Remember that you moulded my like clay.

Job 1413: If only you would hide me in the grave and conceal me till your anger has passed! If only you would set me a time and then remember me!

You:

Psalm 106:4: Remember me O LORD, when you show favour to your people, come to my aid when you save them.
